About the Journal

The journal "Society and Governance" is a scientific fundamental journal published in electronic format four times a year under the auspices of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Established in 1997, this journal is included in the list of mass media outlets recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan for publishing scientific articles written on the basis of research results in the field of socio-economic sciences. Articles are accepted in Uzbek, Russian, and English.

The main purpose of publishing the journal is to accept and publish scientific articles devoted to issues of state and public administration, the history and theory of statehood, relations between public organizations and government bodies, modernization of public administration, increasing the effectiveness of social governance, enhancing the efficiency of personnel policy, improving the organizational and legal foundations of the civil service, as well as topics related to economic and innovative development, deepening democratic and economic reforms, modern methods and directions of management, market economy, monetary and fiscal policy, marketing, and revealing the place and role of Uzbekistan in the international community.

The journal publishes articles in the fields of socio-political, legal, economic, and spiritual-cultural sciences based on original ideas and recognized for their relevance, written on the basis of scientific-theoretical and practical research results, as well as reports delivered at conferences, symposiums, and seminars, methodological recommendations, scientific reviews, critical articles, and materials on newly published foreign literature related to management issues.
